On November 11, the first 1000 MVA/1000 kV UHV AC transformer at Zhangbei Station of the State Grid Corporation of China's Zhangbei-Xiong'an 1000 kV UHV AC transmission and transformation project successfully completed its first test at Baobian Electric Co., Ltd., marking a successful start to the mass production of 1000 kV UHV transformers for Zhangbei Station. Test results show that the product's performance indicators fully meet the project requirements, and key indicators such as insulation withstand capability, partial discharge, temperature rise, and noise all reach the leading level of similar international products.

  This product consists of two parts: a main transformer and a voltage regulating transformer. The voltage regulating transformer is connected to the main transformer via an overhead busbar, forming a complete single-phase autotransformer with forced oil circulation, air cooling, and no excitation. It features large capacity, low loss, and no local overheating.

  Baobian Electric won the bid for seven 1000 kV AC transformers for the Zhangbei Station of the Zhangbei-Xiong'an UHV AC transmission and transformation project. Four of these transformers will be manufactured at Baobian Electric's Baoding factory, and three at its Qinhuangdao factory. To ensure the smooth production of the products for this project, Baobian Electric established a project leadership team to take full responsibility for the production and manufacturing work.

  During the production process, each link focused on product quality and process control, scientifically scheduled production, and all departments actively cooperated. The majority of employees adhered to high standards and strict requirements, overcame difficulties and strived for excellence, and overcame difficulties such as insufficient material supply, large product size, complex structure, and difficult assembly, ensuring that the first product passed the test on the first try.

  The successful test of this 1000 MVA/1000 kV UHV AC transformer is of positive significance for Baobian Electric to enhance its independent innovation capabilities, brand influence, and core competitiveness.
